Most
people can tell I'm passionate about my singing, and its true. It's
pretty much my passion that's been with me since the day I was able
to speak. I sing a lot in the shower for practice. In months that
I have a lot of gigs, the water bills go high..
I am now based in Tokyo, singing at different clubs, but looking formore gigs in the US or elsewhere. I do think Japanese artists need to get out more. Best bet is probably in Asia, but I know there are some artists in Japan ready to perform in the US and Europe.. I know I am. I've been doing some modeling as well. Im a bit tall here, so I guess the designers like me to model their clothes because they always want to enter markets outside Japan. Modeling is a lot of fun, too.. Although its different from singing, where I can express so much of my feelings through the songs. Modeling gives me a sense of being that enigmatic woman I sometimes feel I am. I guess with the experience I have, I feel very comfortable in front of camera when modeling, or in front of a crowd when singing. I always welcome any opportunity to display my talents.
